Frequently asked questions about the CS-1 rack
What is the CS-1 rack and who is it for?
The CS-1 is a modular power rack with 75 x 75 mm uprights for home gyms and clubs. It starts with a base pack (four 204 or 236 cm uprights, four 76 cm uprights, straight or multi-grip pull-up bar, safety straps) that you extend over time.
Which rack height should I choose: 204 or 236 cm?
Take the 236 cm version if your ceiling allows it (leave a few centimetres above for pull-ups). The 204 cm version suits basements and low rooms while keeping the same functions and stability.
Which extensions exist for the CS-1?
6-post extension, dip bar, dumbbell holders, landmine, high/low pulley (plate-loaded or 80 to 90 kg weight stack), monolift, plate and bar storage, compatible Polymax 75 x 75 mm Smith machine. Everything bolts onto the uprights without changing the frame.
What is the difference between CS-1, CS-Basic and Athena?
CS-1: complete, modular rack with 75 x 75 mm uprights, the most expandable range. CS-Basic: entry-level rack with its own accessories (dips, pulley, storage). Athena: 60 x 60 mm uprights built around the adjustable pulley and the compact all-in-one rack.
How is the CS-1 shipped and assembled?
The rack ships from France in flat-packed parcels. Assembly takes two people with the supplied hardware; bolting it to the floor or weighting it with plate storage is recommended for pull-ups and explosive movements.
