Essential safeties for training alone with confidence
The CS-1 safety bar supports are the essential safety accessory for anyone training alone on their CS-1 rack. If you fail a squat or a bench press, they catch the bar reliably and remove any risk of injury. The UHMW plastic lining cushions the contact and protects the knurling of your bar from scratches and wear.
The integrated safety pin ensures a firm hold on the rack uprights, with no risk of accidental slipping during the exercise. The laser-cut numbered holes allow quick, precise repositioning between exercises.
More than a safety: a versatile support
Beyond their protective role, these supports also serve as a bar rest for exercises starting from a low position. The rack pull (partial deadlift) is the most common example: by setting the safeties at knee height, you work the lockout phase of the deadlift with loads heavier than your max from the floor. The supports can also serve as a starting point for incline presses or pin squats (squats from a dead stop).
