Stabilise your CS-1 rack and prepare for your pulley installation
The CS-1 rear stabiliser plays a dual role that is essential for your CS-1 power rack. First, it stiffens the structure by linking the rear uprights, reducing sway during heavy squats and explosive movements. Second, it acts as the essential anchor point for installing the CS-1 High/Low Pulley.
This 11-gauge steel bar bolts straight onto the back of your uprights and adds 24 cm of depth to your cage. The footprint stays minimal, but the gain in stability and training options is considerable.
Why choose the CS-1 rear stabiliser?
On a power rack that is not bolted to the floor, heavy loads can create sway, especially on dynamic squats or explosive movements. The rear stabiliser removes this problem by stiffening the structure from behind.
Its second major asset is acting as the anchor point for the CS-1 pulley. Without it, there is no way to install the high/low cable system on your CS-1 Power Rack. If you are planning to add a pulley to your set-up, it is a prerequisite.
Result: you gain stability immediately, and you prepare your rack for a future upgrade to full-body training with a pulley.
