The benefits of kettlebells
Using kettlebells has many advantages, whether for muscle development, improving physical condition or injury prevention.
- Global muscle work: Unlike traditional dumbbells, kettlebells engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, thus improving coordination and stability.
- Improved explosiveness and power: Ideal for athletes wanting to optimize their performance through dynamic exercises.
- Functional strength gain: By reproducing natural everyday movements, they strengthen deep muscles and promote better posture.
- High caloric burn: Kettlebell training combines muscle strengthening and cardio, promoting intense energy expenditure.
- Increased mobility and flexibility: Certain exercises improve range of motion and reduce muscle tension.
- Suitable for all levels: Whether you are a beginner or advanced, just choose the appropriate weight and progress at your own pace.

Frequently asked questions about kettlebells
What is the Uni Strength adjustable kettlebell?
A solid steel handle (17.5 x 23.7 x 16.7 cm, 28 mm grip, matte black finish) onto which you fix a load from 2.5 to 33 kg. It uses the same screws and plates as the Uni Strength Iron adjustable dumbbells.
What does 'handle only' mean?
The kettlebell is sold without plates: you load it with the plates of your adjustable dumbbells. If you already own an HR pair, there is nothing else to buy.
Which exercises can I do with a kettlebell?
Swings, goblet squats, snatches, clean and press, Turkish get-ups, rows and lunges. The 28 mm handle suits ballistic movements as well as strength work.
Adjustable kettlebell or cast-iron kettlebells?
An adjustable kettlebell replaces a 2.5 to 33 kg set in the footprint of one; changing the load takes a few seconds with the screws. Cast-iron kettlebells remain faster to chain in multi-load circuits.
Which weight should I start with?
Common benchmarks are 8 to 12 kg to start swings and goblet squats, 12 to 16 kg for trained lifters, then progressing in 2.5 kg steps with the plates.
