Frequently asked questions about the CS-Basic range
What is the CS-Basic range?
CS-Basic is the Uni Strength entry-level rack and its dedicated attachments: width-adjustable dip bar (14-gauge steel, 1.7 kg, 150 kg), adjustable dip station (450 kg), high and low pulley (110 kg, 218 cm high, no extra floor space) and storage extension for plates and bars (880 kg).
Do CS-Basic attachments fit the CS-1 or Athena rack?
No. Each range has its own fixings: CS-1 on 75 x 75 mm uprights, Athena on 60 x 60 mm uprights, CS-Basic on its own frame. Choose the attachments matching your rack's range.
Can I add a pulley to the CS-Basic?
Yes: the CS-Basic high and low pulley bolts directly to the rack, takes 110 kg and is loaded with 50 mm Olympic plates for pulldowns, triceps extensions and curls.
What is the storage extension for?
It adds plate and bar storage at the back of the rack and ballasts it: up to 880 kg of storage, which stabilises the frame for pull-ups.
CS-Basic or CS-1?
CS-Basic if you want the fundamentals (squat, press, pull-ups, dips, rows) on a contained budget. CS-1 if you want a more expandable 75 x 75 mm frame: 6-post extension, monolift, weight-stack pulley, Smith machine.
