When the weight stack is no longer enough
Every selectorised machine has the same limit. One day you put the pin in the last plate and the exercise becomes too easy. From there, your options are to change machine or to cheat on tempo.
This loading pin opens a third one. It attaches to the stack and takes 50 mm Olympic plates. Your machine no longer stops at its maximum load, it stops at yours.
A magnetic system, not a workaround
Attachment is by magnet. No screws, no tools, no strap. You place it, you load it, you take it off, and you move on to the next set.
That is what makes the accessory genuinely usable in a drop set, where the whole point is removing the added load in two seconds without leaving the machine.
Also for fractional loading
The pin is not only about going heavier. A weight stack moves in 5 kg steps, sometimes more. On an isolation movement, that gap is too big to progress cleanly.
With fractional plates, you add 1 kg or 2.5 kg where the machine forced 5 on you. Progressive overload becomes possible again on selectorised equipment.
Exercises involved
Lat pulldown and seated row, high and low pulley, selectorised leg press, leg curl and leg extension, pec deck, and any stack machine where you reach the last plate.
The pin also takes resistance bands, which lets you add accommodating resistance rather than a fixed load.
Usage and safety tips
- Check that the magnet contact surface is clean and dry before every set.
- Respect the 60 kg capacity, it applies to the pin and not to the machine you attach it to.
- Check that it holds at light load before going up to your working weight.
- Remove the plates before moving the pin.
Unique benefits of the Magnetic Loading Pin
- Pushes the load limit of your selectorised machines without replacing them.
- Magnetic attachment, on and off in seconds, no tools.
- Takes Olympic plates, fractional plates and resistance bands.
- Makes fine progressive overload possible on machines that step in 5 kg increments.
