How precise are the UF calibrated plates?

The weight tolerance is 10 g per plate thanks to the built-in calibration weights. They suit training as well as competition.

Do the UF calibrated plates comply with IPF standards?

Yes, the plates comply with IPF standards for colour and dimensions: 25 kg red (450 mm, 27 mm thick), 20 kg blue (450 mm, 22.5 mm), 15 kg yellow (400 mm), 10 kg green (350 mm), 5 kg white (225 mm), 2.5 kg black (190 mm), and silver plates of 1.25 kg, 0.5 kg and 0.25 kg.

Which calibrated plate sets are offered?

Four sets are available: 159 kg (one pair of each weight from 0.25 to 25 kg), 259 kg (the same set plus 2 pairs of 25 kg), 359 kg (plus 4 pairs of 25 kg) and 459 kg (plus 6 pairs of 25 kg). The plates are also sold by the pair. A chrome version also exists.

Why choose calibrated plates rather than classic cast iron plates?

For the precision (10 g tolerance), the reduced thickness (27 mm for a 25 kg) which lets you load more weight on the sleeve of the bar, and the ultra-precise bore diameter that limits any movement of the plate during the exercise. The markings are raised, moulded into the steel, and do not fade over time, unlike painted markings.

Is there a discount when buying a calibrated plate set with other products?

Yes, the powerlifting offer applies automatically to the cart with a complete set ordered in one go: UF-Power bar at -€30 with free collars, Combo Rack at -€110, competition rack at -€180, deadlift platform at -10 %. It is not combinable with the 5 % discount.

Are the calibrated plates compatible with all Olympic bars?

Yes, the opening is the 50 mm Olympic standard: the plates fit any bar with 50 mm sleeves, a UF-Power bar, a UF-Haltéro bar, a versatile bar or a bar from another brand.
