Calibrated plates that combine absolute precision and durability!

Our plates are built to last, with a weight tolerance of 10 g thanks to calibration weights.

Colours compliant with IPF standards, ideal for training and competition.

These calibrated plates are cast using the "sand mould" technique, which gives them a microporous surface that considerably increases the grip and durability of the epoxy coating.

The thin profile of the plates means the athlete is not limited by the sleeve length of the bar.

The centre hole diameter is ultra-precise, giving the plates unrivalled stability during lifts (deadlift and squat).

The set that covers a competition bar

This set carries ten 25 kg plates. That is what separates it from the 259 kg set and it is all that matters once your working loads pass 250 kg on the bar.

At that level, total weight is no longer the limit, the number of available heavy plates is. Stacking 10s and 15s to reach a load four 25 kg plates would handle better wastes sleeve space and makes the bar harder to read.

A 10 gram tolerance

A standard plate can deviate by several hundred grams from its stated weight. On a bar loaded to 300 kg, the accumulated error is no longer trivial.

These plates are calibrated to within 10 grams, checked against calibration weights. Your numbers match reality, including the day you compare them to a competition platform.

An IPF colour code

Red for 25 kg, blue for 20, yellow for 15, green for 10, white for 5. The colours comply with IPF standards. You read a loaded bar at a glance, without counting.

Sand cast iron

These plates are made of cast iron using the sand casting technique. The process gives a microporous surface the epoxy grips far better than it would on smooth steel. The coating does not chip on the first knock.

The reduced thickness, 27 mm for a 25 kg plate, lets you load heavy without being limited by sleeve length. The 450 mm diameter matches regulation bar height.

Usage and safety tips

  • These plates are cast iron, not rubber. Do not drop them from overhead, use bumper plates for weightlifting.
  • Store the plates on a vertical rack rather than stacked on the floor, epoxy wears on contact.
  • Always use collars, the reduced thickness leaves more play on the sleeve.
  • With ten 25 kg plates, spread the storage so 250 kg is not concentrated on a single support.

Frequently asked questions

What does the 359 kg UF calibrated plate set include?

Ten 25 kg plates and pairs of 20, 15, 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25, 0.5 and 0.25 kg, i.e. 359 kg in total.

What is the difference with the 259 kg set?

The 359 kg set carries ten 25 kg plates instead of six, which matters when working loads go beyond 250 kg on the bar: the number of heavy plates available becomes the limit, not the total weight.

What is the precision and the colour code of the plates?

Tolerance of 10 g checked against calibration weights. Colours compliant with IPF standards: red 25 kg, blue 20, yellow 15, green 10, white 5, black 2.5, silver for 1.25, 0.5 and 0.25 kg.

How are these plates made?

In sand-cast iron with an epoxy coating that grips the microporous surface and does not chip at the first impact. A 25 kg plate is only 27 mm thick for a regulation diameter of 450 mm.

Is there a discount when buying the set with other products?

Yes, the powerlifting offer applies automatically to the cart in a single order: UF-Power bar at -€30 with free collars, Combo Rack at -€110, competition rack at -€180, deadlift platform at -10 %. Not combinable with the 5 % discount.
