Two bars stored vertically, almost no floor space used
An Olympic bar leaning against a wall always ends up falling, rolling or getting in the way. This double storage puts them upright on one of your rack uprights, where they are in nobody's way.
In a home setup, floor space is usually what you lack most. Two bars stored vertically means a corner of the room becomes usable again.
Your bars protected, knurling included
Both contact areas, top and bottom, are plastic lined. Your bars never rest steel on steel. On a bar with aggressive knurling or a chrome bar, that is what prevents marks at the contact point.
The front edge has a 2 cm lip. A bar does not work its way out on its own, even if someone knocks the rack in passing.
Where to mount it on your rack
We recommend mounting it on the outside of the cage rather than the inside. You grab and return your bars without stepping into the rack, which matters when you go through several bars in the same session.
The recessed mounting avoids any protruding edge at hip height, a detail that counts on the main walkway around a cage.
Usage and safety tips
- Check that both fixings are tight before putting a bar in.
- Insert bars vertically, do not drop them into the slots.
- The cut-outs are sized for 35 mm sleeves, check your bar diameter before ordering.
- On a rack that is not floor anchored, spread the storage out so the cage is not unbalanced on one side.
