The whole CS-1 range |
CS-1 range and most 75 x 75 mm attachments on the market, in 25 mm (1") as well as 16 mm (5/8") |
The crossmembers use the same hole pattern as the uprights. You can mount your attachments on the crossmembers exactly as on the uprights, wherever you want. With the keyhole pattern, you can use both 25 mm (1") and 16 mm (5/8") attachments.
Which length to choose?
Three lengths are available, 41 cm, 76 cm and 104 cm. The crossmember length sets the gap between the two uprights it connects. Choose it according to the rack configuration you are building and the space available.
The crossmembers go with the CS-1 rack uprights in 204 or 236 cm. For a complete rack ready to assemble, see the CS-1 Power Rack bundle.

Crossmembers do not have to sit at the very top of the rack. Thanks to the 5 cm hole spacing on the uprights, you mount them at the height of your choice, at the very top or a few holes lower for a low ceiling or to set the height of your pull-ups and attachments.
Black or varnished steel finish
Black: a uniform, understated black finish.
Varnished steel: each crossmember is varnished individually, directly on the steel. The steel itself gives the look, so the appearance varies from one part to another (shades, reflections, metalworking marks). That is what gives it its charm, no two crossmembers are alike.
Why 25 mm hardware on the whole rack?
To cut costs, many racks use 16 mm bolts or reduce the diameter of some holes. As a result, crossmembers cannot be mounted at every height and the structure is less sturdy. On the CS-1, the hole pattern is uniform on the uprights and the crossmembers, and the hardware is 25 mm everywhere. You mount your crossmembers and attachments exactly where you want, for a more stable, sturdier and more modular rack.

Frequently asked questions
Are the crossmembers sold individually?
No, they are sold as a set of 4 (same length, same hole pattern and same finish).
Can I mix compatibility crossmembers and standard uprights?
Both hole patterns take 25 mm (1") hardware, so mixing is possible. Only the compatibility pattern also takes 16 mm (5/8") attachments.
What hardware is used?
25 mm hardware on the whole rack. Bright zinc finish for the standard version, black zinc for the compatibility version.
Can I mount attachments on the crossmembers?
Yes. The hole pattern is identical to the uprights, along the full length of the crossmember.
Why don't my varnished steel crossmembers look exactly like the photos?
The varnish is applied directly on the steel, which remains visible. Each crossmember therefore has a unique look, this is a characteristic of this finish and not a defect.
Are these crossmembers compatible with other brands?
In the compatibility version, the keyhole pattern takes 75 x 75 mm (3 x 3") rack attachments in 25 mm (1") as well as 16 mm (5/8"). The standard version is compatible with the whole CS-1 range.
Do the crossmembers have to be mounted at the very top of the rack?
No. They can be mounted at any height on the uprights, every 5 cm, to suit your ceiling and your training.
