Calibrated plates: precision and performance for strength training
The UF chrome calibrated plates guarantee a precise, balanced load, ideal for strength training and weightlifting. Their 10 g weight tolerance ensures an even distribution, with no needless variation. Thanks to their corrosion-resistant chrome finish, they offer exceptional durability. Their extra-slim design maximises the load on the bar, optimising stability and safety during training.
Why choose UF Chrome Calibrated Plates?
Thanks to their precisely sized collar, these plates fit Olympic bars perfectly, with no play and no imbalance. Their IWF-compliant colour coding makes the weight instantly identifiable, so you optimise your sessions without wasting time. Suited to strength, weightlifting and powerlifting work, they deliver unmatched stability on movements such as the deadlift, the squat and the bench press.

Frequently asked questions
What is the weight tolerance of these calibrated plates?
The tolerance is plus or minus 10 grams per plate, compared with several hundred grams on a standard weight plate. That is what sets a calibrated plate apart from an ordinary one, and what lets you know exactly what is on the bar in powerlifting and weightlifting.
Which bars do these plates fit?
The centre bore is 50 mm, the Olympic standard. They fit all Olympic bars, including powerlifting and weightlifting bars. The collar is matched to the sleeve diameter, with no lateral play that would unbalance the bar mid-set.
What are the dimensions of each plate?
The 25 kg is 450 mm in diameter and 22 mm thick, the 20 kg 450 mm and 19 mm, the 15 kg 400 mm and 18 mm, the 10 kg 325 mm and 18 mm, the 5 kg 228 mm and 19 mm, the 2.5 kg 190 mm and 14 mm and the 1.25 kg 160 mm and 9.3 mm.
Why are the plates so thin?
The thin profile lets you load more weight onto the sleeves for the same length. On a heavy deadlift or a maximal squat you go higher in load without running out of sleeve, and the distribution stays balanced on each side.
Which set should you choose for a home gym?
The 157.5 kg set includes one pair of each value: 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 kg. The 257.5, 357.5 and 457.5 kg sets add two, four and six extra pairs of 25 kg respectively. The colour coding follows the IWF standard, which makes identification immediate.
