A steel core, not cast iron
The head of our dumbbells is built on a steel core, not on a moulded cast iron part. The handle is fixed to steel, which is more shock resistant and reduces the risk of the head coming loose. It is a more expensive manufacturing process, and the reason our dumbbells last.
Sturdy, Versatile Dumbbells for Every Workout
The rubber hex dumbbells are essential equipment for strength training, strength training and cross-training. Designed to deliver stability, safety and comfort, they are perfect for a wide range of exercises, from muscle building to high-intensity circuits.

Frequently asked questions
Which hex dumbbell weights are available?
The range runs from 2.5 kg to 70 kg per dumbbell, in 2.5 kg increments, sold in pairs.
Why a hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape stops the dumbbell rolling when it is set down on the floor, which makes floor exercises such as dumbbell push-ups or push-up walks safer.
What are the hex dumbbells made of?
A solid steel core wrapped in a thick rubber coating that protects the floor and equipment and reduces noise. The handle is chromed, ergonomic, with a tapered finish.
Which dumbbell weight should you choose for your level?
According to the table on the product sheet: 2.5 to 7.5 kg for rehabilitation and warm-up, 10 to 15 kg for beginners and activation work, 17.5 to 22.5 kg for toning, 25 to 30 kg for general training, 32.5 to 37.5 kg for progressive muscle gain, 40 to 50 kg for advanced strength training, 52.5 to 57.5 kg for intensive sessions, 60 to 70 kg for strength and powerlifting.
What kind of training are these dumbbells suited to?
Strength training, bodybuilding, conditioning and Cross-Training, from classic strength work to high intensity circuits, for beginners as well as experienced athletes.
Why a steel core rather than cast iron?
Steel absorbs impacts better than cast iron, which is more brittle. Fixed to steel, the handle stays tight in the head over time, with less risk of the head coming loose.
What are the dimensions of the dumbbells?
From 26.5 cm long with a 9 cm head for 2.5 kg to 49 cm with a 25 cm head for 70 kg, with a 27 to 33 mm handle. The details for each weight are in the weight table.
